They are soooo good. I bought the canister on Tuesday and it is almost gone, thanks to me mainly and my husband a little.

Trip to the Central Coast

This past weekend we went up to San Luis Obispo to visit family,
friends and go to a wedding too.

Andy is Doing Better

Here is the update from my mom's email.

Thank you all for your prayers on Andy’s condition. I’m happy to say that he’s doing really well and we give thanks to the Lord for this improvement. He has just come back from an echocardiogram and a stress test. The echo results were read as normal, but there is a question about the stress test results so they will be doing a nuclear isotope scan/stress test tomorrow to rule out any heart-related issues. This test is more precise with a 90% sensitivity. At this point, his doctor is fairly certain that it is pleurisy…and from what I’m learning, this condition actually mimics the symptoms of a heart attack…which explains the painful deep breaths and pain radiating into his neck and shoulder. It can occur after a viral infection such as influenza (which he had two weeks ago). If the test results come back with good results, hopefully he will be released tomorrow (Sunday). Again, we are so thankful for your prayers.

What a Crazy Night

Well between Enzo coughing up a lung last night and dealing with my step dad, I am tired. My step dad, Andy, was complaining of chest pains last night around 10:00. I told my mom to give him an aspirin. He took one and they headed off for the E.R.. Thankfully it was not a heart attack, but it was a clot in his lung. Doctors gave him a blood thinner and they are running tests this morning. They need to find out why and if he is going to have more.

Enzo is going to the doctor this afternoon, I think he has croup :( He has this really barky cough and threw up around 11:00 last night. I think it was all of the mucus from this cold. I am hoping it is just a nasty cough and it is at the end stages.

Oh yeah and we are leaving tonight for San Luis Obispo for our wedding tomorrow, so we get to drive late tonight, so much fun!

Update:
Andy did not have an embolism, but they are running more tests and the doctor is most positive that it is not cancer either. His shoulder and rib-cage are giving him a lot of pain, so he is on medication for that. Please pray my mom gets some rest and same with Andy.
Enzo got some immune booster from the doctor and he said it did not seem like the cough was really bad. Thank goodness.
Okay I am packing the car with our twenty some odd bags and getting on the road for our three day holiday.

Sew Much Fun

As I wrote the title to this post my husband laughed
at me and told me that I was definitely a geek!

Here are the quilted coasters I have been working on.

This is the first thing I have ever quilted and I have to say
it was easier than I thought it would be.

I made a little pin cushion out of the leftover fabric from the towels.

Here are my patchwork tea towels, I made for gifts for people.

Each person or family gets two towels.
