I wanted to give a homemade wedding gift to my dear friends. I saw this post for a homemade picnic blanket forever ago(I forgot where). I then saw a tutorial of one down at the fabric store
too. I got one and a half yards of the vinyl and of fabric. I started it in February with the project and then my sewing machine died on me. I need to get it to a doctor and hopefully within the next week, as I have fabric for a Easter dress for Kira.
The ones I saw did not fold over the edge. I liked bringing vinyl side over. I think it gives it a fun look. Now I do not know if the picture shows it but the vinyl has small brown polka dots, super cute. I really want to keep it, so that means I did a good job to me :)
